Urban Educators conduct more jobs in one day than some people conduct in a year. However, the present state of education in the media would have you to believe that most educators are no good. I formed Young Leaders of Atlanta with the intentions to tell the story of the Urban Educator to the world. Why? Because an educator who is acknowledged, respected, and celebrated for his/her commitment and passion for working with underrepresented youth, is an empowered educator. An empowered educator is an effective educator, and an effective educator changes lives.
